Mrs. J.Hunter’s 6th Grade Science

The science portfolio will be kept all year and added to each 9 weeks. It will be due at the end of each 9 week period. The students will be required to produce five artifacts and write a reflection on each.The reflection should state why they included the artifact. The artifact can be homework,lab-work,projects,current events,tests,quizzes,or class work. This will reinforce what they have learned during each 9 weeks. Use the following to help you complete your paragraph:Why did you include the artifact in your science portfolio?What did you learn from completing the assignment?Explain how you could improve your performance on this assignment.

Be sure to use new terms,concepts,and vocabulary when reflecting. The paragraph must be word-processed.  You will need to illustrate each reflection.This may be accomplished by using computer graphics,clip art, or hand-drawn.
