6th Grade Science Curriculum
In 6th grade this year the students will be engaged in hands-on experiments as well as observe teacher demonstrations. During the first 9 weeks the student will be reintroduced to the scientific method and cover the interaction of living things. Environmental problems and solutions will be discussed. During the year the students will cover fossils, waves, climate, the universe, energy and energy resources, heat and heat technology,electromagnetism,the energy of waves,light and sound. We will use the on-line textbook to enhance learning.
